Polytetrafluoroethene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene. It was discovered by DuPont.
 
Fluoropolymer resins can be categorized into PTFE, PFA, FEP, and ETFE, possessing characteristics like high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, low friction , non-stick, UV resistance, adiation resistance, flame resistance and insulation.
 
These raw materials find common applications in semiconductor, chemical, medical, biotechnology, military, food, aviation, automotive, machinery, petroleum, natural gas, and other equipment for fittings, gaskets, flanges, seals, tubes or components.
 
SPPIA purchases raw materials from internationally renowned manufacturers and processes them in a clean room to ensure material purity.
The forming processes: CNC machining, injection molding and extrusion molding.

PTFE

Powdered raw materials, which are placed into the molding to achieve the desired appearance and then undergo CNC processing or are directly processed using rods or sheets.
Additionally, composite materials can be created, such as PTFE+POM, combining the low friction of PTFE with the excellent rigidity and toughness of POM.
 
Temperature range for material application: : -190 to 260℃
 
Products include tubes, oil seals, gaskets, valves, screws, flanges, and various types of components.

PFA

Granular raw material, which are fed into a heated barrel, mixed, and then injected into a mold cavity, where they cool and harden to the configuration of the cavity.
 
Furthermore, these materials can be combined with substances of similar or different properties. For example, electroplated metal can have its lower portion injected with PFA, providing the upper part of the product with conductivity and the lower part with insulating properties.
 
Temperature range for material use: -190 to 260℃

ETFE
